Holiday decor transforms the home into a winter wonderland. During the holiday season, I decorate with everything from my animated Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus to miniature lighted Christmas trees in every room.
The kids love the holiday-themed electric train set under the tree, and I love watching their faces!
A lighted centerpiece on the dining table is a festive accent piece. It depicts a winter ice skating scene. Other accent pieces that make up my holiday decor include several musical snow globes that play Christmas songs. Figurines, including a Christmas village scene and a carousel, are on my fireplace mantel.
Holiday-themed peel-and-stick decals adorn the kids' bedroom walls. Garland is draped around our staircase railing. Topping it off, I place holiday towels in the kitchen and bathrooms, and a holiday-themed shower curtain and rug in our guest bathroom.
